Imran Khan staging protests upon angels' advice, says Khursheed Shah

SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that invitations are not given during rallies and public meetings, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should have visited the PTI Chairman, Imran Khan. He added that peaceful protests are part of a democratic system – ARY News reports.

Talking to media here, Khursheed Shah said that it will be cleared soon whether Imran Khan's protest is in accordance with democracy, or against it. Responding to a question, he said that the PTI Chairman is staging protests a year after the elections, upon the advice of 'angels'.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) have called for countrywide protest on May-11 against alleged poll-rigging during General Elections 2013, load-shedding, corruption, inflation, unemployment and other public issues.

In this regard, a massive rally is announced by PTI, at D-Chowk, Islamabad. Moreover, Jamat e Islami (JI), Awami Muslim League (AML), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) and Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) have also decided to support May-11 protests against the Government.
