ECP Secretary Babar Yaqoob said that that he has not yet receive any instructions to file a reference against Imran Khan.
Yaqoob also said that the commission will soon hold elections at vacant seats of local councils in Khyber Pakhtunwa (KP).
He added that the decision of extending the tenure of tribunal judges will be taken on 22nd June.

Imran Khan, in a tweet on Friday, said that the reference will help him produce more evidence regarding Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and ECP’s collusion in the 2013 general election alleged rigging.
I welcome the news ECP may file reference against me bec then we can present more evidence we have of PMLN-ECP collusion in GE 2013 rigging.
