According to details, Dr. Uzma was travelling with her children in Gulberg area, when a police mobile vehicle instructed them to stop their car. She claimed that suddenly another police vehicle came and hit them from the front of their car.

Then, some police officials came over and starting misbehaving with them and hurled abuses, and even pointed guns at them. She said that they were acting like terrorists and there was no place where they could move their move as there was a footpath next to it.

She revealed their identity to the armed men but they continued with their demeaning antics and raised a severe hue and cry. She said that her children have been mentally affected from the dramatic incident and are currently being consoled.

PTI spokesman Naeem-ul-Haq strongly condemned the incident and said that that the harassment and misbehaviour of the Lahore police with a respectful women such as the sister of Imran Khan was rather shameful.

He said that the Lahore police was only to serve the interests of the rulers, and no such police force across the world treat its citizens as them.

Naeem questioned the provision of security and protocol to Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said the government should stop the mistreatment of its citizens.

The PTI has said that it will register an report in the respective police station. However, police officials appeared clueless and said that the incident was not in their knowledge.

It is also alleged that Maryam Nawaz was in the protocol when the incident took place which is only provided to the Prime Minister.

This was confirmed by Imran Khan who was speaking to the media in Karachi. He said that his sister went to the house where the protocol was deployed and was told that Maryam Nawaz Sharif was visiting due to some personal family matter.

Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz has denied that she was in the protocol. She said that she was in Islamabad when the incident reportedly occurred and arrived in Lahore later in the evening. She said that she felt sorry for Imran Khan’s sister but said that such rumours should not be spread in the holy month of Ramazan.
