Imran names ones involved in rigging Elections 2013

ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), exposed the ones who received benefits in return of rigging the General Elections 2013, ARY News reported.

Holding a press conference here on Monday, Imran Khan told the former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was rewarded by appointing his son Arsalan Iftikhar, as the vice-chairman of Balochistan Board of Investment.

He alleged that Justice Ramdey’s son, Mustufa Ramdey, his brother Asad Ramdey and his niece were also rewarded.

“Justice Anwar Mehboob was bestowed with one year’s extension and other favors as well, while the reward Najam Sethi received for planting ’35 punctures’ is in front of everyone”, claimed the PTI chief.

Khan said the Secretary of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Ishtiaq Ahmed was twice given an extension in his tenure, for serving the Sharif brothers.

Moreover, he also explained the blessings showered upon Tariq Bajwa, Shahid Khan, returning officers and DROs.
