Imran opposes PCB's decision of staging PSL outside Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Former captain Imran Khan has opposed PCB’s decision of staging Pakistan Super League (PSL) outside Pakistan, ARY News reports.

Imran Khan, in an interview, said that staging PSL in the country would have been much more beneficial.

“Staging PSL outside Pakistan will generate revenue but will not benefit the sport in the country”, Khan said.

He also criticized the prevailing cricketing system in the country. He added that it failed polish the talent.

“Najam Sethi was conferred with the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) chairmanship”, the former captain said.

He  stated that the good players are included late in the team which is not good for the system.
