Imran, Qadri term government responsible for Islamabad tragedy

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahir-ul-Qadri said on Sunday that the ruling Sharif brothers ordered the brutal handling of protestors by police while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan vowed to register the F.I.R of Islamabad massacre against Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.

Talking exclusively to ARY News, Tahir-ul-Qadri urged all Pakistanis to come out on the streets adding that the PAT workers are brave enough to brace this kind of manhandling by police.

Qadri said that he believes that around 700 of his workers received injuries as police personnel opened fire on peaceful protesters.

PAT chief claimed that the Sharif brothers’ days in power are numbered adding that they should have resigned instead of attacking the respectable citizens of the country.

While Imran Khan claimed that the police personnel who tortured protesters marching towards  PM House included likes of Gullu Butt (central character in Model Town incident).

PTI chief vowed to register a case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar while saying that Nawaz Sharif is a monarch and whenever he gets power, he turns into a dictator trying to exercise absolute power.

Khan also condemned attack on media personnel by police.
