ISLAMABAD: Viewing Ayesha Gulalai’s fresh accusations as part of ongoing smear campaign against him, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s chairman Imran Khan called upon the party supporters to immediately refrain from targeting Gulalai’s sister.

Taking to the Twitter, the PTI chief said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is doing its best with regard to its smear campaign after putting all barren efforts and making several botched attempts to get him disqualified.

“After seeing their efforts to get me disqualified and their smear campaigns ag [against] me all fail, PML-N is moving to do what it does best,” Imran said in a tweet.

Referring to the ruling party, he further said that try and purchase are two ways into toppling the legitimate government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “Rest assured there will be no counter offers/Changa Mangas,” he claimed in the subsequent tweet.

Restricting the party supporters from targeting Gulalai’s sister, he added: “Let those who sell their souls expose themselves.”

Gulalai, an MNA of the party from South Waziristan, accused on Tuesday that Imran had sent her lewd text messages. She had also alleged that the ‘honour of women is not safe’ in the party.

After her accusations against the party and its chief, Gulalai’s younger sister Maria Toorpakai Wazir – who is a decorated squash player – became subject of criticism by the PTI supporters.
