Imran says Gov't failed to hold talks with Taliban
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has said that if talks were held with Taliban than it would have shown who wants to negotiate who does not. He inquired that would not it be better to take everyone into confidence whether on talks or operation – ARY News reports.
Talking to media here on Wednesday, the PTI Chairman stated that the Government has failed to hold peace talks with Taliban and our enemies have succeeded in this regard.
He mentioned that there are as much as 50 factions of Taliban and if talks were held then the supporters or opponents of talks would be revealed.
Imran further stated that all the political parties had given mandate to the Government for dialogue with Taliban, but what measures did the Government take for this purpose, nobody knows.
