Speaking to media in Islamabad, the PTI chief said Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority should be shut down as it was no more an independent body.
Imran said Pemra was tasked with censoring criticism against the government, instead of its actual job of regulation.
He said the treatment doled out to ARY News and Mubashir Lucman could be redirected to any other journalist in future.
