TOP NEWS

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has said that efforts of the Federal Government for eradicating terrorism from the state are praise worthy and vowed to support the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in his strategy to cope with unrest in the country – ARY News reports.

Talking to media at his residence after meeting the Prime Minister, Imran Khan said that the country is facing serious threats currently and all the political leaders need to unite together.

Responding to a question, Khan said that the rumors of absence of harmony between the political leadership and the military, are being escalated by the same people, who do not wish to see successful peace negotiations.

He added that with PM's decision of pursuing negotiations, Taliban factions have been differentiated in pro-talks and anti-talks categories, and now it has become easier to target the terrorists playing in the hands of external forces.

The PTI Chairman said that there are 7 lac innocent people living in North Waziristan tribal region and insuring their safety is also a bare necessity.

He also urged the Government to make arrangements for the security of polio teams, during the negotiations process with Taliban.
