Imran vows to eliminate reservations on LB polls in KP
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has said that reservations of all the political parties regarding the Local Body (LB) elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will be eliminated, whereas the state cannot prosper without having peace – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the PTI Chairman suggested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold the LB polls under the supervision of Judiciary. He vowed that the reservations of all the political parties will be addressed in the province.
Commenting on drone attacks and NATO supply, Khan said that the Parliament had unanimously approved the resolution that the NATO supply shall be blocked in case of drone attacks.
The PTI Chairman further said that until peace is not restored in the country, it cannot flourish as there will be no foreign investment in Pakistan due to uncertain circumstances.
