Imran's allegations were rejected by his own voters, says Rasheed
ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed has said that the allegations of PTI Chairman, Imran Khan were rejected by his own voters – ARY News reports.
During his informal talk with journalists on Monday, Pervez Rasheed said that the constituencies where alleged poll-rigging took place, there from a few hundred people participated in the protest and hence Imran Khan's allegations were rejected by his own voters.
He told that the PTI Chairman is driving the people towards non-issues, in order to gloss over the failure of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government.
Rasheed described political scenario under the guise of weather, that the current climate is quite pleasant all over the country.
When asked to respond on the allegation of Israr Abbasi, PEMRA committee member, the Information Minister declined to comment and ended it saying that PEMRA has asked for a legal opinion and the Ministry of Law will forward its suggestion on the matter.
