Independent beats PTI candidate in Kalabagh Cantt poll

ABBOTTABAD: Independent candidate Mumtaz Hussain has reportedly won the local bodies election from Ward No.1 of Abbottabad’s Kalabagh Cantt, according to unofficial results.

According to ARY News, Mumtaz Hussain defeated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Dr. Arif after securing 11 votes. The PTI candidate won six votes.

The number of voters registered for the ward was seventeen. They exercised their right to vote before the deadline of 05:00 pm.

On the other hand, PTI’s Basheer Khan has already been elected unopposed from Kalabagh Cantt Ward No. 2.
