India arrests nine Pakistani fishermen from open sea
KARACHI: India on Thursday arrested nine Pakistani fishermen on fishing quest in open sea, ARY News reported.
Indian maritime force went after them in the open sea in violation of international nautical law to arrest the innocent fishermen laboring to make both ends meet.
According to Pakistan Fisher-Folk Forum, the fishermen hailing from Thatta were arrested near Sir Creek area which was confirmed by their families.
The arrested fishermen include Abdul Sattar, Ali, Abdul Rasheed, Nawaz, Shokat, Akbar, Ibrahim and Jugni Ghanno.
