KARACHI: In the wake of getting their plan successful to attain full control on International Cricket Council (ICC), Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has started designing strategies and considering to offer a series to Pakistan cricket team, ARY News reported.
With the time of ICC annual board meeting getting closer, BCCI have turned their approach to get their proposed revamp plan accepted.
A board meeting of BCCI was held in Chennai, the meeting was chaired by board vice-president Shivlal Yadav after president N Srinivasan had to skip it because of his mother's death this morning.
During the meeting it has been suggested that Pakistan should be invited to play series against India in Nov-Dec 2014. The motive behind the invitation is to create soft corner in the heart of PCB and to get vote in their favor.
Earlier BCCI’s president N Srinivasan had also congratulated Zaka Ashraf for his resumption to the post of chairman PCB.
In order to get their plan approved India needs support of 8 member countries out of ten, for which Pakistan’s vote in their favor will be fruitful.
