ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakariya on Saturday said that India stands totally exposed on the issue of terror financing and perpetrating subversive acts in Pakistan.

“India has been blowing the trumpet on the issue of terrorism since long but the fact is that the India’s intelligence agency itself is involved in terrorism,” he said while talking to state-run Radio Pakistan.

He said Kulbushan Jadhav was an agent of Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) and serving officer of Indian Navy.

The spokesman said the agent has been awarded death sentence after due judicial process.

To a query, he said the United Nations and the US have expressed their desire to play a role for resolution of all disputes between the two countries including the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jadhav was arrested from Balochistan for espionage and sabotage activities. He was tried through Field General Court Martial (FGCM) under the Pakistan Army Act (PAA) and awarded the death sentence.

The Indian naval officer had confessed to committing and planning subversive activities inside Pakistan.

He confessed before a magistrate and the court that he was tasked by Indian spy agency to plan, coordinate and organize espionage/sabotage activities aiming to destabilize and wage war against Pakistan by impeding the efforts of law enforcement agencies for restoring peace in Balochistan and Karachi.
