India hands over remains of Pakistani prisoner who died in Held Kashmir on June 20

LAHORE: Indian officials have handed over the body of a Pakistani prisoner, who died in Occupied Kashmir, to Pakistan Rangers at Wagah Border, ARY News reported on Saturday.

Deceased Waheed Nur Khan had accidentally crossed the border area and entered the Occupied Kashmir region six years ago. He was arrested by the Indian security forces and charged in four cases, out of which he was acquitted in three trials.

Khan was killed in a bomb blast on 20th June as he was being taken to a court in Saupur town for hearing of a case against him.

A militant group named Hizb-ul-Mujahideen has claimed that Nur Khan was killed in police custody.

The family of Waheed Nur Khan took the body to Rawalakot where he will be laid to rest.
