LAHORE: Former chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Choudhary Zaka Ashraf disclosed on Sunday that India had threatened Pakistan on ‘Big 3’ issue, ARY News reported.
Addressing a gathering in Lahore, Ashraf said formation of ‘Big 3’ was detrimental for all the cricketing nations, not the Pakistan alone. He said incumbent PCB chief Najam Sethi should have consulted [relevant stakeholders] before speaking in support of the ‘Big 3’.
He said had the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met him, he would have resigned as per his [PM’s] wish.
The former PCB chief said he was unnecessarily being dragged in the matter of Zarai Taraqiati Bank, adding he turned the bank into profit entity in just three years.
