India wants two changes in ODI rules

TOP NEWS

DUBAI: The Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) has proposed two changes in playing conditions of One Day Internationals (ODI) which it deem ‘inappropriate’ for the game, ARY News reported Monday.

According to Indian media, the BCCI has demanded either of its proposed changes should be enforced in ODIs.

The BCCI has opposed use of two new balls from both the ends and placement of only four fielders outside the 30-yard circle.

According to ARY correspondent, Indian team captian M.S. Dhoni has been a strong opponent of both the aforementioned rules while the BCCI also want those changes in ODI rules.

The four-fielder rule has also been opposed by some teams at the international level.
