LAHORE: Indian experts from energy sector met Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and exchanged views to overcome power crisis in Pakistan, ARY News reported Monday.
During a meeting, Shahbaz said dream of development could not fulfill without overcoming electricity crisis.
The delegation also exchanged view of alternative energy resources with the chief minister.
The CM Punjab said the province had wide resources of bio mass and bio gas to generate electricity. Indian experts assured their all-out cooperation to the chief minister in order to resolve power crisis in Pakistan.
Punjab Agriculture Minister Dr. Farrukh Jawed, chairman planning and development, additional chief secretary and others also attended the meeting.
