ISLAMABAD: Four civilians were killed and six others were wounded in Indian forces’ firing at Line Of Control, ARY News reported on Monday.
“Four civilians embraced shahadat (martyrdom) at LOC in Nakial sector while 6 civilians were seriously injured . Pakistan army troops are effectively targeting Indian posts for heavy casualties. Exchange of fire continued till filing of this report,” said a statement released from ISPR.
Nakyal lies on the Line of Control, the de facto border between India and Pakistan in Kashmir.
Pakistan has repeatedly told India to refrain from creating tensed circumstances for the soldiers along the border.
