Indian forces kill another defenceless Kashmiri youth with pellet guns

ISLAMABAD: In occupied Kashmir, a youth succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Srinagar on Saturday, raising the number of civilians killed by Indian forces during the ongoing Kashmir Intifada to 108.

The youth, Muzaffar Ahmad Pandit, a resident of Check-e-Kawoosa in Narbal area of Budgam district, was critically injured after he was hit by pellets on September 14.

Reports said that Muzaffar Ahmad developed some complications last night and was rushed to Sub-Divisional Hospital Magam where from he was referred to Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar. He underwent three surgeries in his left eye, today morning, however, he succumbed.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria confirmed the killing and strongly condemned India’s continued bloodshed of defenceless Kashmiris in Indian occupied Kashmir. He said United Nations was urged to note the Indian barbarism.
