Indian praise good work regardless of nationality: Ali Zafar

MUMBAI: Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar has said that Pakistani people realised that it is possible to get sucess in India by showing good work .        

According to Indian media, Ali Zafar has siad that "I think when my first film became a hit, people in Pakistan realised that it is possible to make it big in India."     

"There is a misconception that every woman wears a 'hijab' and every man keeps a beard in Pakistan. I always think that nothing is impossible", he added.         

Ali Zafar had made his acting debut ib Bollywood movie in 2010 with 'Tere Bin Laden', which was a hit which was followed by  'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan', 'London, Paris, New York' and 'Chashme Baddoor'.     

His upcoming film is ‘Total Siyappa’, which is a romantic comedy starring Yami Gautam in lead role. Zafar plays a Pakistani rock star who falls in love with an Indian.    

Total Siyappa is directed by E. Niwas while written by Neeraj Pandey.The film is scheduled to release on March 7.
