SRINAGAR: Indian government forces killed three youth in Tral town of Indian held Kashmir on Saturday, reported Kashmir Media Service, in a recent act of atrocities committed against unarmed Kashmiris.
The government forces laid siege to Wantiwen area to conduct a search operation, triggering angry protests. The forces used tear gas shells and pellet guns to disperse stone-throwing protesters that resulted in deadly clashes, leaving three people dead.
The residents took to the streets in Satoora area of Tral to protest the army operation.
KMS said that a delegations of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement and Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement visited Srinagar and Badgam areas and paid glowing tributes to the youth who were recently martyred by Indian troops.
The Mass Movement chairperson, Farida Bahenji, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go in vain and their mission to secure their right to self-determination would be accomplished at all costs.
