KARACHI: The body of SP CID Chaudhry Aslam has been shifted to his residence from hospital, ARY News reported on Friday.
Initial investigation report of the terrorist attack has been prepared, according to which the suicide bomber with explosives laden car attacked Chaudhry Aslam. Around 200 kilograms of explosives were used in terrorism incident, which were kept in blue-coloured cans, the report said.
The funeral prayers of SP CID Chaudhry Aslam will be held today at Police Headquarters Garden here after the Asar prayers today.
Moreover, funeral prayers of Farhan Junejo, a guard of Chaudhry Aslam, who was also killed in the attack, was offered in North Karachi, which was attended by his relatives and large number of people of the area.
Strict security arrangements have been made for the funeral prayers of Chaudhry Aslam. Politicians and top police officials are expected to attend the prayers.
Chaudhry Aslam was martyred in a bomb attack at Lyari Expressway near Gulshan-e-Iqbal yesterday.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility for the attack.
