ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUIF) Chief, Molana Fazlur Rahman while opposing the military offensive in North Waziristan, has said that the people of FATA are being sandwiched, while innocent citizens are also being killed in this operation – ARY News reports.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Molana Fazlur Rahman while expressing concerns over unannounced military operation, said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) has the mandate to make a decision on the issue and being an ally of the ruling party he considers dialogue to be the final solution.
The JUIF Chief stated that fighter jets are being used in the operation, which is inappropriate. He inquired that who would differentiate between terrorists and innocent citizens.
He further stated that using power is no solution to an issue.
