ISLAMABAD: The internal story of the meeting held between Government and Taliban committees earlier today, has been unfolded.
Member of the government committee for talks with Taliban, Major (R) Amir criticized Taliban committee member, Molana Abdul Aziz for issuing statements to media regarding Shariah – ARY News reports.
According to details, Major (R) Amir strongly criticized Khateeb of Laal Masjid, Molana Abdul Aziz, whilst the Advisor to the PM, Irfan Siddiqui also demanded for an inquiry against Molana Abdul Aziz for making contacts with Molvi Fazlullah, chief of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Irfan Siddiqui told that the news circulating on different news channels are creating hurdles for the Government.
The situation at the meeting remained tensed due to the matter of Molana Abdul Aziz, yet it was overcome by other members.
Moreover, Molana Sami ul Haq stated that if the cross fire continued on media, then it can create obstacles for the negotiations process with Taliban.
Earlier, Maulana Abdul Aziz had stated that enforcement of Shariah is lacking in the agenda of peace talks and for this reason he had signaled of his possible detachment from the process.
