Interior Ministry approves security for ex-CJ

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Interior has directed the concerned authorities to provide security to the former Chief Justice (CJ) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry- ARY News reports.

According to details, Registrar, Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan had written to the Ministry of Interior to provide complete security to the ex-CJ including a bullet-proof vehicle.

The spokesperson of the Interior Ministry told ARY News that the Capital Police has been directed to provide fool-proof security to Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, while consultation in ongoing regarding the bullet-proof vehicle.

On the other hand, the Capital Police sources have confirmed that the ex-CJ is being provided security.
