International wrestlers set to bout in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad next month

RAWALPINDI: Renowned international wrestlers have arrived in Pakistan to participate in Season 2018 International Wrestling event going to be held in August in different cities, ARY News reported.

“(It’s) pleasure to have international wrestlers Raymond Thomas and Andrew Harrison, UK, Nicole Tanea Brooks, USA, and Haris Fiaz, France, for coordination at ISPR,” said Director General Inter Services Public Relations Maj General Asif Ghafoor in a statement posted on his personal social media account with his picture flanked by the wrestlers.

“(They) shall bout at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad in August 2018,” he said.

The event is organised by Ring of Pakistan in collaboration with the ISPR to promote sports and encourage international players to visit peaceful and progressive Pakistan.

The wrestlers visited the ISPR for coordination of the forthcoming event.
