RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selection committee has decided to drop fast bowler Muhammad Ifran from upcoming Asia Cup and World T20, ARY News reported on Thursday.
The selection committee also decided to recall pace bowler Umar Gul for the forthcoming tournaments after he regained his fitness.
It was decided during a meeting of PCB selection committee in Rawalpindi, where ongoing T20 tournament is also underway.
Meanwhile, ex-captain Shoaib Malik was not ready to play a T20 match today over fixing allegations, but later he withdrew his decision on insistence of PCB chairman Najam Sethi.
