ISLAMABAD: The technical committee of Indus River System Authority (IRSA) has predicted 35 percent water shortfall in Kharif season this year, during a meeting which recommended deduction of river water supply share of Sindh and Punjab provinces, ARY News reported.
Director Operational IRSA chaired the meeting to review the availability of water for irrigation in upcoming Kharif season.
All four representatives of the provinces along with Wapda and other officials of concerned departments were present in the meeting.
