WASHINGTON: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is on the visit of United States (U.S.) to have talks with World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF), ARY News reported.
According to Finance Ministry, the Finance Minister along with his delegation will also attend Pakistan-U.S. strategic dialogue going to be held on April 9.
Beside others the delegation includes Secretary Economic Affairs Division (EAD) Nargis Sethi and Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Mr. Ashraf Mahmood Wathra.
Earlier, on Monday, Ishaq Dar informed Ontario Finance Minister Charles Sousa during the meeting that Pakistan's Growth Domestic Product (GDP) would remain 3 per cent while the government is committed to stretch it to 6 per cent.
He further told him that Pakistan government will spend $34 billion on infrastructure projects.
Meanwhile, the Ontario Finance Minister praised Pakistan’s business community.
