KARACHI: Federal Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Governor of Sindh Doctor Ishratul Ibad has one-on-one meeting on Tuesday in Karachi, ARY News reported.
During the meeting, they discussed Karachi operation, political and security issues of the province. Governor Sindh also made Finance Minister aware about MQM concerns over ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.
Speaking to media followed by the meeting, Finance Minister said that Karachi operation will remain continue without any discrimination. He assured that MQM’s concerns will be sorted out.
“Security of country including Karachi is precedence and economic stability and countering terrorism is the topmost priority of government”, Dar added.
He said Federal Government would continue to provide assistance for ongoing mega projects‚ including circular railway‚ in Karachi.
He held out the assurance to the Governor of Sindh‚ Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan during a meeting in Karachi on Tuesday.
Ishaq Dar also assured the continuity of assistance for projects underway in other parts of the province.
