He stated this during a farewell reception to outgoing Director General ISI Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam in Islamabad today.
Nisar said the professional capabilities of the ISI increased during the tenure of Lt-Gen Zaheerul Islam. In the last one a half year, terms between the ISI and interior ministry were highly cordial, which will also continue in the future.
The minister said the ISI was an institution, which is symbol of terror for enemies. The role of ISI in national and home defence is matchless, he added.
