ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has said that Islam in a religion of peace and security, ARY News reports.
In a message on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W), Nawaz Sharif said that the nation should use its energy on Pakistan's development, promote Islam and making Pakistan a hub of peace and prosperity. He also added that the religious day stresses to spend our life according to the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Nawaz Sharif further said that Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) did not only bring the religion of Islam but also brought a complete code of life in the form of the Holy Quran which has all the instructions on spending a successful life.
Prime Minister further stated that one significant aspect of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)'s Seerat was the good behavior with the non muslim minorities. He also said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) also taught the lesson of tolerance and sympathy with the non-Muslims and always protected their rights.
"Islam does not discriminate between, color, caste or creed. Islam is a religion of peace and security and has no room for evils such as extremism, sectarianism and terrorism", he said.
