Islamabad Police thrashes protesting families of missing persons

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police under the Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan thrashed the protestors at a rally here on Monday, demanding the recovery of missing persons – ARY News reports.

According to details, families of the missing persons were protesting here on Monday and demanding immediate recovery of their loved ones that the Islamabad Police took the protestors on task,  thrashed them and fired tear gas.

Capital Police along with female cops thrashed the protestors, during which famous human rights activist Amna Masood Janjua, whose husband is also found missing for a long time, was also beaten up by the personnel.

Female cops were found thrashing the protesting women with full might of their fists and kicks and arrested several protestors including Amna Masood Janjua, who was leading the rally.
