Islamabad, Punjab lock horns in Pakistan Cup today

Islamabad, led by Misbah-ul-Haq, has played two matches in Pakistan Cup tournament and managed to win one game. They started their campaign by beating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) by two wickets but lost to Sindh by 118 runs.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik’s Punjab side has not been able to win their single match of the tournament so far. They started off on a losing note against Balochistan and were later beaten by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Islamabad and Punjab are currently placed at fourth and fifth place respectively in the points table so far.

Shoaib Malik’s Punjab side has to beat Misbah’s men to remain in contention.

The match will start at 03.00 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
