The match started at 9.00 p.m Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Sarfraz Ahmed’s Quetta Gladiators topped the round robin stage after winning six out of their eight games while Misbah-ul-Haq’s Islamabad United came third after emerging victorious in four matches.

Gladiators qualified for the final after beating Peshawar Zalmi in the first play-off match of the competition.

Meanwhile, United beat Karachi Kings in the eliminator and sealed their place in the final by beating Zalmi in the third play-off match.

Sarfraz Ahmed said that the side had already beaten United earlier in the competition and the team is in good form.

Misbah-ul-Haq, on the other hand, said that Quetta was a tough side but the team’s morale was high after winning four consecutive matches.

Islamabad United has won the toss and decided to bowl first.
