TEL AVIV: Israel has restricted the citizens below 50 years of age from offering Friday prayers at 'Masjid e Aqsa', officials told that the ban was imposed in view of a possible collision amongst the masses – ARY News reports.
According to foreign media reports, Palestinian people have been protesting strongly and tension persists in the vicinity after a debate held in the Israeli parliament for granting permission to Israelis to worship inside 'Masjid e Aqsa'.
Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) has condemned this act of the Israeli government in strongest of the words and labeled it a dangerous move.
Jordan has also warned Israel of deporting its ambassador and to review the peace agreement with it.
