It hurts when Nisar talks against me: Nawaz Sharif

LONDON: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday said he was hurt of disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s statements against him, ARY News reported.

“It hurts me when Nisar talks like this about me. I have not yet replied to his statements, neither I want to respond to them,” he said while talking to journalists in London.

Sharif is currently attending to his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz in London.

He said had his wife been in normal condition, he would have not stayed in London for longer period of time.

“My wife is in serious condition and fighting the battle of life. So, I will return to Pakistan once she gets well,” he said.

Talking about economic situation of the country, the PML-N quaid asked how Pakistani rupee’s value slumped from Rs104 to Rs125 and who was responsible for this situation.

PML-N no more an ideological party, says Nisar

On the flip side, Nisar, while addressing a rally in Rawalpindi, said the PML-N had no longer remained an ideological party.

He said he had been loyal to the person for 34 years who, when the time arrived, allotted ticket against him to such a person who had always been opponent of the PML-N. Who was not even a politician, neither he ever had been elected even a councillor, he said.
