Jaffar Express derailed in Jacobabad

JACOBABAD: The engine and three bogies of Jaffar Express were derailed following an explosion at a railway track here in Jacobabad on Saturday, ARY News reports.

The authorities stated that an explosion took place at a railway track in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station due to which the engine and three bogies of the Quetta-bound Jafar Express were derailed.

A 10 to 12 foot crater was also created due to the impact of the blast.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene after receiving information about the explosion. Police have stated that no injuries have been reported.

The railway traffic was also affected due to the incident.
