ISLAMABAD: Taking exception to the health cards bearing former primer Nawaz Sharif’s pictures, MNA Jamshed Dasti on Wednesday urged National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take notice on the issue.

In a statement, Dasti has urged the ECP and NAB to take action against the excessive use of national treasury for promoting the “disqualified premier”.

According to Dasti, the health cards being distributed among the masses still bear the picture of Sharif.

The matter was previously raised by PTI chairman Imran Khan earlier this year over misuse of taxpayer money after incumbent PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi distributed health cards of “Prime Minister’ National Health Programme” bearing Sharif’s picture.

Health Card

“Shameful! In no democracy in the world would this be acceptable: A disqualified money launderer’s face on a government health card! Apart from using taxpayer money to project criminals, Sharif mafia destroying moral values of our youth: As if nothing wrong with corruption/money laundering,” tweeted Imran on January 20, 2018.
