Javed Miandad decides to quit as DG PCB
LAHORE: Director General Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Javed Miandad has decided to resign from his position, ARY News reported on Friday
In a letter addressed to PCB chairman Najam Sethi, Miandad said the moment had arrived that he must say adieu to the PCB.
The legendary batsman further said that he pray for the success of Pakistan Cricket team.
Miandad, who has coached Pakistan team for more than couple of times, was appointed director general PCB in November 2008. He had quit his position for a brief period in January 2009, citing poor contractual terms, but soon he was reappointed by the then PCB chairman Ijaz Butt.
Miandad has represented Pakistan in 124 Test Matches and 233 ODIs.
