LAHORE: Chief Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq has demanded Rs 100 billion development package for Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), ARY News reported Sunday.
Talking to media in Lahore, the JI chief said government must identify elements involved in sabotaging peace talks. He said clash between institutions will hurt democracy in the country. “Imran Khan has the right to stage protest demonstrations,” said JI chief.
People in tribal areas are suffering the most in two-side attacks, he added.
Siraj said Sharif (referring to prime minister) must visit Waziristan instead of foreign trips.
The JI chief said people were the sole authority to topple government.
