ISLAMABAD: Jamat e Islami (JI) has decided to play its full role in negotiations between the Government and Taliban – ARY News reports.
According to details, the JI Ameer Munawwar Hassan chaired a party meeting here on Wednesday, after which the media was briefed that the party has decided to remain a part of talks between the Government and Taliban and it will not step back from its stance.
Munawwar Hassan urged for serious efforts from both sides and reaffirmed that talks are the solution all the issues.
It was added that the JI is trying for the problems to be solved at the table of talks.
The meeting was attended by Professor Muhammad Ibrahim, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Zubair Farooq and several others.
