JI Karachi Ameer visits different markets, listens to traders' issues

KARACHI: Jamat e Islami (JI), Karachi chapter's Ameer, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman has said that the trade fraternity is the most affected community due to extortion and unrest in the metropolis. He added that the businesses and jobs have been devastated here due to persisting lawlessness – ARY News reports.

According to details, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman visited the Boltan Market, Plastic Market and other markets of the old-city area and met the traders there and listened to their issues. He also exchanged views with traders and businessmen there regarding unrest in the city.

Naeem invited the traders for the Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan Convention which is to be held on March 23 at the Nishtar Park here. He said that the time has come now for everyone to take out against terrorism and extortion demanding practice, and for the sake of restoring peace of this city.

On this occasion, the president of Small Traders Union, Mehmood Hamid and the president of Boltan Market Association, Rafiq Jadoon said that the traders of Karachi are running the economy of the entire state and this very role of them is made their offence.
