JIT formed to inquire into Kasur child abuse

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Abu Bakar Khuda Bakhsh will lead the team to inquire into Kasur child abuse scandal. Other members of the team will be Superintendent of Police Khalid Bashir Cheema and Deputy Superintendent of Police Liaqat Ali.

The team would also have assistance of the officers of intelligence agencies.

The JIT has been ordered to investigate all first information reports (FIR) filed in this case and present a report to court within two weeks.

After cancellation of the interim bails of accused yesterday the number of arrested men in the case has reached to 13.

The court has also added the clauses of the anti-terrorism act in the FIR.

Chief Justice of Lahore High Court has suspended a senior clerk of LHC, Tanzeel ur Rehman, who has been one of the arrested accused in Kasur child abuse case.
