JSQM chairman passes away in Karachi

JSQM Chairman Abdul Wahid Aresar was undergoing treatment of kidney problems at a private hospital in Karachi for some time and passed away earlier on Sunday (today) morning.

Aresar was born on 11th October 1949. He played a key role in Sindhi nationalist politics. He became the JSQM chief after unifying all the separatist parties together.

The JSQM chief was the only nationalist leader to have mend fences with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

He also wrote many books on politics, history and other subject that were well received on national level.
