JSQM leaders shot dead prior to burning inside vehicle: Autopsy Report

KARACHI: Post mortem report of slain Jiye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) leaders, Maqsood Qureshi and Salman Wadood has been issued, which mentions both the nationalist leaders were shot dead prior to burning along with the vehicle – ARY News reports.

According to details, medico-legal authorities issued the autopsy report of slain JSQM leaders Maqsood Qureshi and Salman Wadood, who were killed by unknown assailants yesterday.

The report mentions that both the nationalist leaders were shot from a short range and later burnt inside the vehicle.

Sources told that both the deceased were mentioned as unknown for they could not be identified. Maqsood Qureshi and Salman Wadood were recognized through the burnt vehicle.

Experts are of the opinion that if the DNA test of the dead bodies is not conducted, then certain difficulties will encounter while registering an FIR.

Yesterday, Maqsood Qureshi and Salman Wadood were found dead in mysterious circumstances inside a car, along Bhiria Road, Naushero Feroz. As a consequence, protests had sparked in several cities of interior Sindh.

Maqsood was the brother of late JSQM Chief, Bashir Qureshi who had died in Sakrand, Nawabshah in 2012, medical reports had claimed that Bashir died of poisoning, not of natural causes.
