Judges Detention Case: Hearing adjourned till Dec. 20

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has adjourned the hearing of the Judges Detention Case against former President and Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf till 20th December, ARY News reports on Friday.

The proceeding of the case was resumed by Judge Ateeq-ur-Rehman. Chief Commissioner, Inspector General Islamabad pleaded the court to provide them time to file their answers.

The petition filed by former President Pervez Musharraf, to be exempted from appearing in court proceedings, was also accepted.

On the other hand, a letter has been resent to the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) to record the statements of the detained judges. It is written in the letter that access should be granted to the judges so their statements can be recorded. He stated that no further developments in the case can be made without the statements.

The hearing of the case has been adjourned till 20th December
